📜 Rules of Engagement

§1 — THE PLATFORM IS THE TARGET

Hack Me If You Can is a living hacker community. The app itself is designed to be explored, probed, and broken. Hidden systems exist beneath the surface. Finding them is part of the game.

§2 — BOUNDARIES

Do not attack the underlying infrastructure (AWS, DNS, etc.)
Do not attempt denial of service
Do not access, modify, or exfiltrate other users real personal data
Do not use automated tools that generate excessive load
Do not exploit vulnerabilities in third-party services

§3 — DETECTION

The platform monitors for suspicious activity. If you get too noisy, you will be detected, traced, and eventually burned.

CLEAN — No detection signals

WATCHED — Suspicious patterns detected

FLAGGED — Multiple signals triggered

TRACED — Under active monitoring

BURNED — Session terminated

§4 — RECOVERY

If burned, you will receive a recovery UUID. To restore access, post it on LinkedIn. Yes, really. The shame is part of the game.

§5 — FLAGS

Flags are hidden throughout the platform. Find them, validate them, earn points. Some are easy. Some require creative thinking. Some require breaking things.

§6 — COMMUNITY

Be a good citizen. Help others. Share knowledge. Don't spoil challenges. Reputation matters here.

§7 — HAVE FUN

This is a game. Treat it like one. The best hackers are the ones who enjoy the process.
